K12® Music teaches music fundamentals through the study of classical music, great composers, and traditional folk songs. Songs and games on original CDs and videos help students build a strong music foundation. K12's Music program is set up as a successive series of programs. Assuming no prior musical training, the lessons help students learn about and appreciate music, from singing and dancing to learning about rhythm and playing the recorder. Music courses are currently offered for elementary school grades (K-5) only. |

Students will use Vox CDs to study the lives and music of several master composers. Completion of the previous K12 music courses is not a prerequisite. | |
