The best way to understand how the Indiana Virtual Charter School helps families guide their children's learning is to hear it from the parents themselves. Maybe you'll see yourself in their stories as they share how INVCS helped them to:
Improve a child's academic prospects
Cater to unique lifestyle needs
Find a great academic alternative to public and private schools
"Indiana has few alternatives to public school, and the choices that we do have are time-consuming, expensive, or inconveniently located. The online learning environment of INVCS, with all the lessons planned and with no tuition costs, is both affordable and convenient. It allows me more time to enjoy with my children instead of planning and accounting for them. It also provides us with a community in which we can share field trips, discuss experiences, make new friends, and have fun. The Indiana Virtual Charter School is an alternative that meets not only my family's needs, but Indiana's needs." — Deelyn Lynch
Satisfy unique lifestyle and learning needs.
"I have a son who is very bright but who cannot handle large crowds or noisy areas. He loves to learn and loves to be challenged but needs the support of a counselor, a psychologist and many others to get through his day. Public school is not an option due to these issues. I also have a daughter who reads at a twelfth-grade level (even though she is in the fifth grade), and who tests at a ninth-grade level for everything else. She loves to learn, but needs the ability to work at her own pace, which is much faster than her classmates'. When I ran across K12, I was very excited. The opportunities are endless for all children—no matter what area they live in—to get an equal education." — Melissa Ruth
